Viking Chess

Viking Chess (Kubb) is a traditional Swedish game played at BBQs at home, in the park, or on the beach during warm and light summer nights.

Cork is the perfect material as it is more durable, lightweight, safer and more sustainable than the traditional wooden solution.

The set is stored in a textile bag, ready for the next game with friends!

In our world of online activities, we wanted to design an offline alternative, a physical game that encourages active play with friends.

Our intention is for the game to look good enough to be part of your interior, and in that way serve as a constant reminder to step outside and play.

As experienced Kubb players, we know traditional hard wooden blocks thrown through the air can be dangerous, so we chose cork and soft, rounded shapes to keep the game safe and fun!
